GTA 5 could break Black Ops' record of 2 million first week sales. Grand Theft Auto 5 could be the fastest selling game of all time according to Chart-Tracks director Dorian Bloch. The current record is held by Call Of Duty Black Ops with a whopping 2 million sales during its launch week in the UK , and a staggering £58m worth of sales on its first day.. Impressive right? Impressive yes but even so GTA V is set to beat that record when it goes on sale in September something else that no other game has been able to do for the past 3 years XPG. The market research company has predicted that Rockstar's new game could topple Call of Duty: Black Ops from the UK top spot. Chart Track have been quoted as saying: "Many people have forgotten the effect GTA 4 had on the market back in Q2 2008," "It sold just under a million units in its first week - only four Call of Dutys and one FIFA game have done better. More impressive still is the fact that it sold to almost one-third of the entire PS3/360 installed base at that time, in just one week." GTA 5 released its first gameplay trailer this week.
