    Having a bit of trouble with the player storage editor for GOW3. None of the weapons are allowing for their stats to be modded. I have opened all my data up and can see the existing stats for all my weapons and medals but I can't modify them. The problem also appears to exist for medals/ribbons. I can look at the stats but not change them. Is there something that has to be done before I can modify those stats?

    I just tried editing all elements (including: weapons, ribbons, and medals) of the editor and it works just fine.

    [IMG]

    You have to either click (or double-click) on the values, then use the arrow keys or the number keys to change your values, then click out of the box, then save.

    If that doesn't work for you, please include your save so that we can take a look.
    Also be sure to run 360Revolution as Admin.

    http://www.xpgamesaves.com/pages/360revolution seems to download just fine for me.
    So I'm not exactly sure who's editor you have in mind exactly, but that is the AIO containing the editor in question.

    Long time no post, figured it out after hte screenshots. A lot of those lines i thought were uneditable were when clicked, they just appeared not to be.

    However, got a problem at the moment trying to actually make any edits, i get this error every time i try to change anything:

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Any idea what this could be and/or how to fix it?

    What are you trying to change and how much exactly? That error appears to be a cause of Index out of range and is trying to read a value that far exceeds the software's capabilities.
    If I don't put any crazy values on my save, they seem to work and save just fine.

    I get that trying to increase my XP (adding 200k to a level 96 char should have brought it to level 98).

    I also get it trying to pick medals like Big Money to increase their value to onyx. But in those cases the error only appears when selecting the medal, don't even get to enter a value.

    That's odd. Try adding only so many xp at a time and see if that works for you. Seems to work.

    Also, I did notice that there are double instances of Medals to be selected -- the error only occurs when selecting the repeated instances (the 2nd set) of medals. Try sticking to only the first set and you should be fine (until we fix that accordingly).

    yea, tried it using the arrows instead of adding numbers, seems to work fine. However, the instant i pick a level change (ie once i've hit max on the level i'm currently on) i get that same error again. It seems XP saves though when rehashed, but the level wont change.

    So for instance, when i go up a level in the editor, i get hte out of range error, if i save and has, the XP in game is reported as 1 point below the next level my save is currently set to.

    Figured out the XP issue, obviously the XP caps at the 1 point below the top level. What was happening was I didn't realize that the 1-100 selector repeated 3 times for the re-ups, so i kept picking level 99 on reup 1 when the character would have had enough XP to be level 99 on reup 2.

    Stupid mistake, urgh. Also seems that some of the medals have the out of range because they're calculated automatically based on other stats and don't have reups as an option. So I've noticed an out of range error on a few.

    Thanks for the help.

    Sure, no problem. Glad you were able to figure it out!
