do we really need to update dashboard?

    I have a corona jtag with dash 16202. Just wondering if it necessary to update to the latest version to play the latest game?I am using freestyle dash to run my game from hdd. Thanks!

    yes you do need to update as newer games will only work with the new dashboard ;)

    Just like the guy above me said, to play newer games you need the newest dashboard.

    actually there is no current games that require the newest 16547 dash, but if your going to update it to play the games that require 16537 then you might aswell update it to the newest 16547. That way you don'y have to update again for awhile.

    IIRC there used to be a way to patch games so you could play them on older dashboards but i believe that operation to be null now a days
