Yes you can hex edit but there is a save editor out and DISE will be updated soon. To hex edit find the item you want and find BF 80 in the hex codes for the item you want to edit and change the hex in front of BF 80 to what ever number of items you want I changed mine to 27 0F BF 80 which gives me 9999 of the items for mods like wire, meat, etc. For ammo I changed them to 3B 9A C9 FF BF 80. When you find the item and BF 80 in the hex it will look like 00 00 00 00 BF 80 and some may have a number like 00 00 00 04 BF 80 and you will be replacing those 0's before BF 80. At the end of what I have highlighted, you see "BF", the 4 blocks before that are for the ammo in the clip. To make it have 2 billion+ ammo in the clip(never reload) you would put 7F FF FF FF like this
Ok thanks Gudz I will try it out. Yea hope Steffen L updates his excellent program DISE (I even paid for a license). Whats the name of the save editor? Does it work for Xbox 360? I tried Google and got DISE and Deviated trainer. Edit: Nevermind found the editor thanks again.
Love this thread, a lot of great work by all involved, thank you. ...One question though, iirc, Feral/TeamXPG, modded the first Dead Island so that the achievements popped in order, as you played it, it was very clever, ideal for offline and very amusing to see 'em all pop within a few minutes of play....Wondered if the same will be possible with the new game???
Hy, can someone please tell me how to repack the files back to .pak? I used Dragonunpacker for unpacking and edited something and now i dont know how to pack it back. would be great if someone can help me out. Got it, thx anyway
Gudz I tried to hex edit my item and weapon ammo (Flaregun and Nailgun) in HxD didn't work in game. I used Dead Island Decrypter. Decrypted save file, opened up save with ~ edited it like in the first game and all four rows (Blocks) before BF 80. Encrypt, save and resign in Horizon. Transfer over to my flash drive. No go in game (Riptide). Has it worked for you? Also tried the editor (one at mysaves) that is out, but game freezes everytime you try to drop a weapon with unlimited ammo (Mostly to give to friends). Tried to get unlimited ammo to work for 8 plus hours (No luck). Guess I'll have to wait for DISE to be updated.

Can someone pm me a link to download this game, i dont want to strip my pc down to copy the game. Iv been trying for 3 days and only downloaded 2.0% . I Know its only a matter of time before the developer menu comes out as you can change the ingamemenu.scr as i did in my last game. Ill do some more testing if i can download it.
what ingamemenu.scr? you mean the menuingame.xui in the folder data/menu/scr ? also go to LINK REMOVED and download it there. in the .rar file under the 200mb folder, there is a link to the gamefront links via jdownloader. gamefront has the best free downloading speeds. if its not fast for you then its your internet

Just to let everyone know, next update will be soon (few days give or take) with toggable mods for speed, jump, 1 hit kill, god mode, and stamina. ill have a video uploaded late tonight
Ive mooded one shop so i can buy the developer craft plans 1-4 there. But they are shitty and the hand glova doesnt work right. If i read it correct, this time it has something to do with teddy bears and not skulls to get them legit.
