LT+3.0 Coming Christmas Eve! Yes that's right LT+ 3.0 has been announced to be released on Christmas eve! LT+ 3.0 Will add support for topology data in place of AP2.5 replay data for all XGD3 and AP2.5-active XGD2 backups it will also contain the long awaited "Silver Bullet" eliminating any future AP2.5 issues this means that we will no longer have to worry about the AP2.5 checks as this FW is designed to always return the correct response when faced with an AP2.5 challenge. For drives that support AP2.5, all backups containing AP2.5 replay data will need to be patched or re-dumped and re-burned for compatibility with v3.0. c4eva's can be found below. c4eva Spoke! Thanks guys I so get this! I have so many to flash atm but it will be a nice Christmas earner for me Much appreciated mate and yes I will be keeping this thread up to date as always I am glad to be of service
What program will be used after he released 3.0 so we can play our games as abgx is unlikely to release at that time.
XBC will have a function to enable you to inject the correct AP2.5 data into the ISO before burning until ABGX is released all the info needed is in the additional notes on the OP and in TG's post
Correct me if I'm wrong, but since ABGX won't be released yet, we will need to manually inject the proper AP2.5 data into each .ISO before burning so it will run on LT+3.0, right? Then once ABGX is released, it will do the work for us when the .ISO is ran through the program?
good info as always caveman +rep mate you going to be adding all the ap 2.5 data needed once its released?
*EDIT*This was answered in the 25/11/11 update on the main post . iXtreme LT+ v3.0 to be Released After December 6 Posted on 25/11/11 by admin | Tlumacz
Makes sense. Thanks, Caveman. EDIT: Okay, wait. One more question, I promise. Will we be able to re-download any XGD3 game like MW3 and just run that .ISO through the new XBC? Or does it need to be an original disc ran through XBC?
Lol not a problem mate that's is why I made this thread to help people understand what is going on because even we find it confusing from time to time lol. From the looks of it I am pretty sure that we can use the current burns as long as we make sure they are injected with the correct AP2.5/Topology data. Naturally ABGX will be much safer but for now manual Injection will be the only way to patch them.
just wanted to know something guys bare with me if you have not been able to play xgd3 titles because of the silent update when i flash to the new firmware will the games that i have allready burnt work offline? till the new abgx firmware comes out an i can redump and patch the iso?..thnkz..
As far as I understand it the old XGD3 wont be compatible with 3.0 but you can still use the original dumps but you will have to inject the new AP2.5/Topology data into them manually using the new XBC that will be released along side LT+3.0 to make them compatible with the new FW. This means we wont have to wait for the new ABGX but we will be responsible for making sure all of our ISO's are patch with the correct AP2.5/Topology data. Once ABGX is released naturally that will be the best method of re patching our games.
you are very welcome mate if you have any other questions regarding this please feel free to ask here or send a PM .
You should put a list of all the common games with all the new patches so we know were downloading the correct ones
