Yes. When I attempt to inject the modded game save into Horizon via device explorer I get an error message. I am going to attempt now so that I can give you a better description.
I used USB Explorer to get the modded .sav back onto my USB, but my Xbox will not read it. I am very confused because even with the file already on my USB when I access it in Horizon it also says there is no information to be found
Thank you, works like a charm! Only thing is if i mod the backpack size of a character who has not upgraded their backpack at the black market it seems to corrupt the save file. Also when you are scrolling through the inventory sometimes it gets stuck and you have to mess around with the sorting to get it going. Awesome stuff anyway, thank's again!
You open up your main save in package manager. Click on contents & replace with your new modded SaveGame.sav?
Yes that is what I did in USB Explorer. It will not let me inject in Horizon. I receive the STFS error message every time.
Is it absolutely pertinent that the zip file is in the same folder? In C drive I have a folder named borderlands 2 and in it are my .sav, the .exe for the tool, the Pthon file, as well as the zip file. When I open the mod program, in the data box it does not read \EXE like your posted photo. Is that a problem? I still have the new .sav file created so IDK what is going on.
for people having problems, give modio a try, although stated earlier not too, ive always had problems with horizon even with the latest version, it seems too always corrrupt my game saves and make my file bigger for some reason, but modio works perfect for me. i remember editing dark souls and a few other games and horizon would always enlarge my game save. modio worked 95% of the time. that dame dark souls was tricky lol.
This is AMAZING!!! I've looked all over the internet for something like this and here it is!! It did take me a while to figure out but I'm glad that I got help with it from reading everyones post. Thanks again!!
Yea I need to go over the instructions & make them more clear for some people. I didn't write any of it, just shared. I've noticed some of it's a lil hard to follow. Glad you was able to figure it out.
What about if you made a video tutorial? The written version is good but the one part that I had difficulty with was where to put the items i.e. the editor, the py file and my save. Once I realized that all three had to be in a brand new folder, just by themselves, then it worked like a charm.
That actually seems like the problem most people are having. I'll see what I can get together when I get home from work.
I have taken some photos of my setup with the folder. Tried to upload so you wouldn't have to make a video. I'll just put them in as attachments rather than full view. =P This first one is the folder on my Desktop This second one is what it should look like after you open the folder. Just these three things should be there. This one is after you open the Mod Tool what the setup should look like.
did everything and it says my files corrupted and i cant use it. Does anyone know what to do. gamertag: AWUERTH help/
