No, they aren't. The characters are still listed as being 999, but the health clearly shows that they aren't. Also, everything is unequipped due to now being a higher level than the character. Damn Gearbox, who was being hurt by us messing around with these?! I've only ever used them with friends and anyone can feel free to kick someone from their game if they don't like it!
sadly no they dont work 100% anymore. i did test the saves to see what was working still and the modded ammo, skill trees and what seems like the modded eridium and crystals are still there. if that doesnt show for you let me know so i can close this post.
That's correct. Everything that has to due with the levels being modded no longer works, but skill trees, money, ammo, etc. is still good. I think there are some issues with modded backpacks as well, but they were always funny for me so I try not to use them. This is for all saves of this type.
Did they patch using the level 100 guns? for me is says im level 999 but, guns say "LEVEL REQUIREMENT: 100"
Actually it might be "patched", but I would like to ask you guys here to try and make a really good .GPD editor or maybe even hex edit it because they may have just put the "level cap" in BOTH the "savegame.sav" & your gamertags ".GPD" area. Though to the other guy and anyone else; yeah it does "show" your level, but if you go over to the quest menu it shows that your level at the bottom is level 50 still. When you can figure out where they "patched" or MAYBE just "MOVED" the leveling data I'd say then you'll be able to have your guns back... AND MINE AS WELL! I've been waiting so long to see if I can get my level 60 assassin back... just finished the game before the patch and then now they're basically telling me I'm supposed to be FORCED into fighting terramorphous at level 50 when he's level 52 and he still had a possibility to kill me when I was level 60 because he can kill anyone if terramorphous slaps you off the cliff. Seriously Gearbox does very little thinking when it comes to making the gamers happy.

I'd like to know exactly where they claim to support modding even though it ruins the economy of the game. Modding was a huge issue in the first game, and when people can "one-hit" every enemy it really does ruin the fun. Stop making yourself look dumb.
