At $49.99, this year's CoD Season Pass accounts for four main DLC drops, titled Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion, and Nemesis. The video below offers the first glimpse of some of the new content:

These four packs will introduce to the game new multiplayer maps, bonus weapons, and a "unique 4-part episodic Extinction experience", according to the publisher.

The Season Pass price represents and $10 discount on purchasing the content packs separately.

Season Pass buyers also get instant access to the Free Fall multiplayer map and some other goodies including a MP Character Head, Weapon Camo, Reticle, Player Patch, Player Card and a Player Background, as detailed in the trailer above.

An industry analysts has recently warned investors that Call of Duty: Ghosts is displaying a 'troubling' decline in sales versus its predecessors. Activision's FPS series was, however, still the top-selling game in North America in November, according to NPD Figures.
