Does the thing have a cooling fan, lol? I would think it's a problem with your processing chip, if it over heats too much, it could fry it.
if its still under warranty get a refund, other wise do the 12v fan mod if you havent already got it. and if you know how replace the thermal paste with some artic silver 5

There might be something wrong with the fan mod for it to stay at that temp. But if you paid a good amount of money for it I would message him and get a refund.
