    I have a jtagged xbox360 E but I can only play games from discs..can I somehow install xex menu and freestyle to it and allow me to play games from external hard drives??

    Right, Are you 100% sure its a Jtag and not just flashed console. ?

    The label said so...it plays games from discs and has xex menu with it. I have another RGH Slim but I don't think it's the same thing so I figured I ask here to be sure

    best way to find out if its a RGH is power it on with a eject button andif it boots in to Xell reloaded its a RGH

    Sorry for the late reply, went to do dishes :p...Yes I understand the install FSD part, what I'm trying to ask is does playing games from external hard drive require a hardware fix or it can done as long as it's jtag/RGH?

    Yes, fsd supports external usb drives, no other hardware is needed.
