The rise of high definition television and the increased demand for gaming quality is forcing the games console market to move at a faster pace than ever before. The Xbox Scorpio console uses a graphics card similar to the GeForce GTX 1080, so it can step up to the demanding frame rates and displays of current generation video games. Games have advanced ahead of Xbox One capabilities already, so it is no surprise that graphics and power are in Microsoft's mind. The Scorpio's GPU is rumoured to far exceed that of the PS Neo, though Neo wins on overall CPU output. There is little to call between the two at this stage, but we can expect a lot more information in the coming months. Xbox One fans may be divided on the idea of a new console so soon. However, if you hope to take full advantage of VR in the future, it seems that display capabilities are going to matter a great deal.
