Microsoft is predicting rival Sony will cut the price of the PS4 very soon. Such a move would follow last week’s price cut in Japan, announced at the Tokyo Game Show. “I fully expect they [PlayStation] will drop price,” Xbox boss Phil Spencer told IGN. “When I think about the playbook they’ve used in the past, we feel good about the plans we have in place going forward in the holiday. If history tells, then we’ll see a price drop from them coming.” An official announcement would likely happen during Paris Games Week, taking place October 27.
