[Windows] How to downgrade iPhone 4s from iOS 7/8 to iOS 6

    Firstly, i'd like the state that this works ONLY on the iPhone 4s - it does not work on any other iOS device. Don't bother trying or it'll get bricked.​

    To start off, you must have a jailbroken iPhone 4s, running iOS 7.x or 8.x​
    ​
    You also need the following downloads:​
    ​
    ​
    Now, for the tutorial.​
    ​
    1. Uninstall your current version of iTunes and all apple related software.​
    2. Install iTunes 12.0.1​
    3. Install Win32 OpenSSL​
    4. On your iPhone open Cydia and install OpenSSH​
    5. Extract kDFU.zip and run the exe​
    6. Enter your iPhone's IP address and press start​
    7. Wait for it to finish, your iPhone 4s will have a black screen - it will be in kDFU mode​
    8. extract downgrade.zip to your desktop​
    9. put fistmedaddy.ipsw into the downgrade folder on your desktop​
    10. Open command prompt as admin​
    11. In command prompt type "cd C:\Users\YOURUSER\Desktop\downgrade" replacing YOURUSER with your PC username​
    12. In command prompt type "idevicerestore -e fistmedaddy.ipsw"​
    13. If Command Prompt is stuck at "Extracting filesystem from IPSW" don't worry, it takes a while to extract.​
    14. Once done, your iPhone should boot to the Activation screen. Pass all that and congratulation, your iPhone 4s is now on 6.1.3!​
    15. You can use p0sixpwn to jailbreak again​

    Ok i have a iphone 4s thats on ios8 if i downgrade it to 7/6 can i bypass the icloud activation as its locked ?

    Bypassing iCloud lock on iOS 6 will remove the phone's cellular capability, so it'll only work as an iPod. Don't know if it works on a 4s either.

    Do you know of a working way to bypass the iCloud on an iPhone 5C that's probably on iOS8, a friend was just asking this a few days ago but I didn't think there was a way

    No, there's currently no way to bypass iCloud locks on an iOS > iOS 6

    Thanks for your reply, I assume there would be no way to downgrade from iOS8 to iOS 6 on a locked 5C?

    not yet, there could be in the future. This bypass currently only works on a 4s.

    Was there not away to do it via dns settings glitch ? on ios 8.1.3 if i remember right. 2 secs gonna send a email :)

    Thanks for quick reply, I don't mind losing cellular capability as i can't even get to the springboad on it at the min.

    Guessing i would also need to jailbreak it first but i can't even do that seeing its not activated :(
