Watch Dogs will receive a closed beta test on Xbox One, as revealed by an Xbox Marketplace listing that has presumably been made public in error. The below snapshot comes care of AbleToFail, via Videogamer. A similar listing has appeared on Upload Studio, the console's all-in-one user-generated video hub. I've just had a look, and both listings are still there - find them by clicking on the games section in the Upload Studio app, then scrolling through the tiles to the right. Hit the menu button with the Upload Studio entry selected, and choose "play the game" to access the Marketplace listing. The trial is 23.07 GB in size, and appears to include access to both single and multiplayer. It's "unavailable" for download at the time of writing. Expect it to be taken down shortly. Watch Dogs was originally down to release last November - it'll now launch on 27th May worldwide. In a recent opinion piece, I suggested that the game may have missed its moment - open world cybercrime made a lot of sense at Xbox One launch day, but Ubisoft may have lost mindshare to this spring's blockbusters, not least the mighty Titanfall. What's your take on all that? Source - OXM
