Im waiting on getting The Sims 4 but i want to know if my laptop can run thus game fine. i know i dont have an A1 laptop but here it is. I liked Sims but got very boring. I will most likely be purchasing the next one buy will be in the near future. Let me know how it is etc And don't worry about the Direct X, it will ask you to download it during the installation.
lol,best thing to do is just go here http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri and use the autodetect option,and it will tell you how your specs compare to the game specs but yes you can play sims 4 with ease.
