Once upon a time, you may have considered Pro Evolution Soccer the very pinnacle of digital football nirvana. In recent years, PES has become an increasingly disappointing franchise, leaving the door wide open for FIFA to attain supremacy in the football gaming stakes.

With Konami acknowledging that it let the fans down with recent instalments of PES, the emphasis is really on returning the game to its former glory, reproducing the unique feeling that made PES 5 and 6 so sublime. There's a lot riding on PES 2015, it goes without saying.

Konami is pulling out all of the stops for PES 2015, as the series' European Brand Manager, Adam Bhatti tells us. It's all about gameplay, and ensuring that fans get the Pro Evo game they deserve this year. PES 2015 is out on November 13th. The demo is available now in Asia and is coming to the US on September 23rd. It's delayed in Europe.
