It's a strange thing, The Master Chief Collection. Given that a statistically significant proportion of living Earth residents has probably played at least one of the games in the package, talking about what's inside seems almost a little redundant. That there are enough details and changes to the existing games to fill a full one-hour panel at Comic-Con seems pretty astounding. You can hear all about them in the video below.

Topics covered include the Collection's freeform menu system, cross-game level playlisting, additions in the form of skulls and modern additions to older games, a look at Halo 2: Anniversary in action, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Halo 2's new cinematics and a lengthy discussion of the package's multiplayer offering.

It's all very exciting, though Lord strike me down if I ever cheer openly at the mention of the Bumper Jumper control scheme.
