This patch solved numerous problem that persisted in the game including infamous experience points glitch, tweaks to the re-balances various aspects, boosting the variety of loots and items dropped from monsters etc and also the ability to purchase them throughout the game. As Kotaku explains it, ''Gamers can just simply kill a bunch of cows, take there hides, meditate for an hour - during which time the cows re-spawn - and then do it all over again''. Now, this is something I'd do in Runescape which is completely boring and just something you shouldn't do in such an enjoyable game like Witcher. This patch also includes more practical events and improvements like better HUD alignments for non 16:9 display screens and will support for colorblind options. If you're a full owner of this game from the Steam store, you'll be given an automatic update once you hit play on Witcher 3, if you bought the game from somewhere else, you'll need to go and download it from there official website ''GOG''.
