yeah see if I could team view one of you and show you my issue I extracted out the orange box which I got from god marketplace and I still get that error message just becoming a headache.
I having problem running Resident Evil Code Veronica. I put the GOD container of the game under hdd1:/contents/0000000000000000 and the game shows up under games in my library in FSD. But when I try to load it I get a black screen and if I press the guide button on my controller to quit to xbox home the console freezes. I tried converting the GOD to ISO then extracting files from the ISO but the problem still persists. I am using FSD3 rev735 on the default skin. My dash is 16197. My Avatar is grey in color. Probably I need the avatar update.
What i'll suggest is updating your Freeboot and then doing the avatar update. I'm not too sure if that game is new. If it is a newer release, you could need the 16203 update. Well, not that high, but higher than 16197. Plus, it's always good to be on the latest and "greatest." Sounds more like the GoD is bad to me though. If you can't make it an ISO and it freezes when you play it, it may be a bad conversion. You have tried unlocking the GoD, right?
I have applied the avatar update and still having the same problem. It was released in 2011 so I dont think it needs an updated dash. I am also having similar problems with Dragon's Dogma, Deadly Premonition and I am Alive, All of these games were released before 16197. How do I do that?
when i open the 360mp extract iso select iso Error!! it says default.xex was not found in the root sector of this game How To Fix This please Help
To unlock the GoD, you can either do that via the PC or the console. To do it via the console, download a piece of homebrew called "XM360." Load that program up, and the rest is pretty self explanitory. To do it on the PC, load up a program called "360 Content Manager" and point that program to the folder where your GoD game is. Click unlock files and let it do it's thing. Then, transfer the game back to the HDD's Content/0000000000000000 folder. Sounds like the game didn't compiled right to me. Try redoing the GoD container. Make sure that box is ticked!
I am trying to extract a GOD container for XBLA game but it does not have its identification file (the 44kB file). How can I extract it?
You can't extract an XBLA game via this method. XBLA games are one, signed package. GoD games (legit or converted) are separate "archived," i guess you could call it, containers. The file you must load for the extraction in this tutorial is sort of like the "instructions" for the extraction so to say. Anyhow, i'll quit boring ya. The program you're looking for that will extract the XBLA game into raw files like the JTAG/RGH rips would be called WXPIRS. Download that program, open the XBLA game and extract it.
To double check. When it extracted, there's the default xex, right? If the default.xex is present, it should load. If it doesn't it may have a container security on it or it didn't extract completely, etc.
It had the default.xex inside. I tried loading it from FSD. Nothing happens. No logo, no black screen, no freeze, nothing :wallbash:
Launching the default.xex with either XeX Menu or FSD's File Manager does nothing? Sounds like a bad rip/game to me. I'm clueless on the issue, man.
Thanks for this guide mate, relay clear and simple instructions on what to do, helped me convert my fifa 13 back to a iso then into a jtag rip
Thanks so much Stanton for this tutorial. I know i have been off and on for awhile but finally learning how to extract TTRL files to original content is a plus and i owe it all to you! Well written!
