Fallout 4 could yet come to PlayStation VR – even if we have our misgivings about whether it would actually run on the PlayStation 4. Earlier this week, HTC described the Vive version of the apocalyptic virtual reality role-playing game as an “exclusive”, but publisher Bethesda was quick to respond, stating that it will simply launch “first” on the headset. “We still want to support as many platforms as possible,” the firm said, hinting that PlayStation VR isn’t entirely off the cards. To its credit, HTC also clarified, explaining that it used the word “exclusive” errantly, and that it’s up to Bethesda to determine “when and where” the adaptation launches. So, is the dream back on? We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, both The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR and DOOM VFR have been dated for Sony’s headset – the former of which is a timed exclusive on PS4.
