Team 17 has announced that The Escapists will be getting festive next week with the release of the new Santa's Sweatshop DLC, in which you assume the role of one of Santa Claus' Christmas elves who decides to escape the "cruel regime" of the evil, but jolly St. Nick.After 20 years of toy-making tyranny, you decide that it's time to leave behind your terrible working conditions and zero pay, returning to the warm welcoming bosom of your real family. To help make good your escape, Santa's Sweatshop will add all-new items and craftables within its Christmas-themed level.You'll also have Christmas jobs to carry out, new characters to interact with, all with a fittingly festive soundtrack and new achievements to unlock. The Escapists: Santa's Sweatshop will be available for free on Xbox One, PS4 and PC from 8th December.
