The Playstation Network is now back to its former glory following a massive denial of service attack of the Christmas holidays which left the service unreachable and Sony are talking compensation for the affected Playstation Plus subscribers. Sony have been in talks with 3rd party publishers so the company can compensate its customers that were affected by the downtime which lasted from Christmas day until today, the 27th of December. Sony will be offering two free games for Playstation 4, Playstation 3 or Playstation Vita consoles along with a small credit which will be added to Playstation Plus accounts, and thats not all! In addition to the two free 3rd party games and the credit Sony are also giving One months free access to Music Unlimited. Non PlayStation Plus members will also receive compensation in the form of a One month trial to Playstation Plus and Music Unlimited. Some publishers are also continuing the Christmas spirit and giving away free DLC, Rockstar has confirmed that they will be extending the GTA Online Festive Surprise Christmas Day inventory gifts across all four platforms. Microsoft have not mentioned any plans for compensation so far, we have reached out to the company to find out if they will be compensating their customers. Which games would you like to see given away as compensation? Let us know in the comments below.
