This time, you'll be sniping targets in the "beautiful and diverse" environments of Italy in 1943.Playing once again as covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne, you'll fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian Resistance, aiding their cause in battling against the continuing rise of Fascism. That means taking on a deadly new threat that could halt the Allied effort in Europe before it's even started.Taking in Mediterranean coastal towns, dark and foreboding forests, mountain Monte Cassino-style monasteries, and huge Nazi megastructures, Sniper Elite 4 promises maps with "emergent stealth action and unrivalled sniping freedom" that are twice the size of those in Sniper Elite 3.Sniper Elite 4 will also have a campaign, co-op, and competitive multiplayer modes when it launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in 2016.
