    Sky Sports and BT Sport have won the UK rights to broadcast the Premier League between 2016 and 2019, with the fee topping £5billion for the first time.

    The cost had been expected to reach £4.4bn, which would have been a record, but bidding eventually ceased at £5.136bn.
