In my opinion no, if you're not aware XBOX One is releasing more games than PS4 this year and next year. Microsoft keeps updating the XBOX One giving us new features and actually making us happy. In my opinion, XBOX One has better features, security and other cool stuff. Like Halo and all them cool games that PS4 don't have. Yes i'm bias. But only because PlayStation wasn't very satisfying. But overall, you're the consumer and it's clearly up to you
upto you depends what you want from the console really both are good consoles but i perfer the ps4 as it suits me better as i want a games console only downside is psn is it still does maintenance but like daniel said upto u
I love my PS4, never had any problems, and I very much enjoy it's UI. I would NEVER trade it for the X1. The only downside I can even think of is the occasional PSN problems, which is rare anyways. I say go for it
