thinking of buying a RROD 360 and paying for the fixing service here but do the new slims still have the " bug " or have they been fixed/imune to the RROD? thanks
You Can't Actually Get The RROD Anymore Due To It No Having The Red Ring Of Light As A Visual Error But We Are Not Sure If It Still Has The Problem But The 360 Slim Has A New Way Of Letting You Know If Something Is Wrong
the new xbox has an red led just in the centre apparently, not sure if its true or not yet. as for getting a rrod xbox, i have bought a few, repaired them myself and sold them on, its worth getting one and repairing yourself if your confident, it is worth reading up on first tho as i found that putting screws into the heat sink didnt work and instead started using hybrid clamps. if your intressed in trying to do repairs, i have a guide in pdf form i can send you
If your going to buy a RRoD xbox and get it fixed do your research, find out the secondary error code as this will pin point the actual problem and you will then know if its fixable or not. if your going through with it and buy a RRoD console fix it yourself, it will be for the experience and its fun lol i fix RRoD consoles in my spare time.
