Hi guys hope I can get some help or info on this. I have a normal retail xbox 360 slim and a rgh corona v2 slim, I spent a year offline playing games with my xbox live enabled profile on my rgh and everything was great until I decided to buy a new xbox slim to play on xbox live. When I tried to bring over my profile that always worked on xbox live I'd get the message "This profile cannot connect to xbox live on this console, please download it again" I tried everything to get it to go online but nothing worked. So what I did, I redownloaded my profile from xbox live on the new slim xbox and alas my gamerscore reduced to what it was since the last time I was connected. (about 20,000 lost) I have been trying to replay some games on my rgh with the new profile and gained some gamerscore back. (Around 5,000 lol ) Tonight I decided to log into live with the new profile which I knew would work because I redownloaded it. But Im getting the same message as before with the new profile!! So it has to be my rgh doing something to the profile when Im using it. I always sign into a dummy profile first boot my games with xex menu then logout, the log into my live profile. So no rgh data is recorded on the profile. Has anyone ever come across this?? Right now I feel like giving up.. Please help guys!!! Thanks.
Take the profile you've been using offline and port it to a USB stick, delete any other profiles you wish to put back on. 1) Use your USB key with your live enabled profile and plug it in on your retail and see how it goes. 2) You'll probably need to rehash and resign the profile with the retails information, console ID etc then re-try step 1. I use my live enable profile on a dual band and retail via USB all the time with no issue.
Hard one this one. So your profile will not connect to Xbox live on retail console ? Just to make sure: You have downloaded the profile on the retail console. Then your moving the profile to RGH playing games and unlocking gamescore then moving back to retail console and connecting to live to update gamerscore. That right yeah ?
Thats right! But it wont connect so my rgh is doing something to the profile. I even downloaded a fresh copy moved it over to the rgh booted up a game for a few seconds, then moved it straight back to the retail and it wouldnt connect to live.
I do the same never had this issue always have a backing your profile extracted from horizon cause I ran into this problem lost 2k gamerscore once it sux just be Sure to make a backup before you go back online I always do the same.
