guys i need some help, im trying to load in the legendary gems with max level (im using 50 as the level) and for some reason, when i do this it wont let me export the save from PS3 -> PS4.

my current save actually already has a leg gem that i edited in with a rank of 50, in-game it shows up as level 25 gem, which is fine. this save works fine and can be exported. all i have then done, is load that exact save into the new editor, and then added each other type of gem, using the same values as the rank 50 one i already had in there.

then, i load up the game on PS3, and the save loads into the menu fine. but when i choose Export i get an message "An unknown error has occurred please try again". this has to be related to a corrupted item or something, because i tested and re-exported my previous save and it works fine.

edit: ok something is up. to test something, i exported my original save successfully, which was made/edited using the previous editor version. then, i loaded that working save into the new editor, didnt make a single change, just clicked Save All, closed it and then tried to export it again. Nope, i get the "Unknown Error has occurred" message.

so something i have in there is now bugging out with the new editor...the only thing that has changed majorly, i have a heap of legendary gifts i was using. they have now changed to "A Gift" and are found under consumables. Under gifts, there is now only Rare Gift. before, they used to be called Legendary Gifts. i'll try deleting those from the inventory and exporting again, since the new editor is obviously updating the GBIDs and maybe they now arent compatible.

 

Will the save load on the ps3?

 

yeah thats the thing, the save itself loads, all seems fine. but when i go to Export it wont. im just trying something else out now, as i noticed that the flags for the gems were set to 265, which makes it an enchantable item. maybe for some reason they werent set that way before and now its bugging out, i dunno.

edit: nope wasnt the flags. even tried deleting the gems from the inventory and exporting that, nothing. only thing i can think of, is to make a fresh save and a fresh editor run and see if that works.

 

ok ignore me, my bad guys. the little flash drive i was using seems to have become corrupt or something. i tried a different drive, worked first time. so who knows. managed to export those gems now, all rank 25 also just an FYI for anyone making a Leoric's Crown, the guaranteed socket roll in-game, does not come into play if using the editor. meaning make sure you give the helm a socket or it wont roll with one. just in case anyone was wondering that. i forgot and found out the hard way.

 

you should try formating that drive and try again when reading and writing this much flash drives tend to corrupt a lot.

Oh the editor works fricking awesome!!! I'm amazed how easy it is to use. I was the one with the Mac issues and ever since I got it to work and watched Viper's tutorial videos, I've made some great mods. I'm finally enjoying the game without all the frustration of not having enough items or gold to craft legendary plans I find for the blacksmith or any other items. Thanks again, CKY.

I had no problem with the save editor when I first started messing with it, but now, when I go in, it shows codes instead of the names of the items. How can I fix this?

What's up CKY. I just have a question and I cant seem to find it in the forums. I'm trying to get a good stats for my fast crossbow and I cant get it to at least 110% attack speed with 3 sockets. I'll be thankful if you can point me to the right direction. Thanks.

 

only thing i can think of is you are not using the mystic affix..

 

I actually use the mystic and I probably using it wrong. This is how I do it let me know what's wrong with it. On the 6 affixes I put 10-20% attack speed then on the mystic I put 10-20% on the old affixes then new affixes I put 3 sockets.

 

Try using the old affix as something other than the attack speed.
And I would mod the gems that you are putting in the sockets to have attack speed.

 

so on the 6 affixes should I put 5 10-20% attack speed then 3 sockets? When it comes to mystic Old affix should be whatever then new affix is 10-20% attack speed? And just reroll them? I'm still kind of confused I'm sorry guys. Thanks in advance.
