there is 2 None's one that sets to null and one that sets to 0 one is for Affixes and one is for mystic can you verify for me the one you are using ?

 

The first? I don't know. They both just say "None." Like I said earlier, there should be a button on that Mystic tab to simply clear the enchantments entirely. I hate having to go through the raw data and zero them out. Too many goddamn items to sort through to find the right one(s).

 

click on "None" and make sure that after you click it the change is not none but 0 I will have to make the change so that it is Mystic None will be kinda tricky the language translations need to be take in account

 

Confirmed and fixed its a null check that I missed..

 

Some one asked me today is there a better way to navigate the drop down tress well my answer is I dont know..

So lets look at our options.
We have the scroll bar using the left click and moving the mouse will scroll the visible items..
If you have a mouse wheel you can use that to scroll the visible items.
Then there are those like my self that dont like to use a mouse..
So we can use our key board.

hey CK, the first i must say thank for your Editor, it's very usefull.
The second, can i ask some question !
i'm newbie on Diablo 3, so i don't understand about Tier of weapon or Armor, what level can use Tier 1/2/3.....

 

Sorry I wouldn't know specifics of that nature.. Knowing something like that would imply I have played the game...

From an editor aspect of it any tier can be worn by any level..

 

The tree layout is best in my opinion. I wouldnt change the way it is. Everything is easy to find and easy to use.

 

Have you ever tried using the CKY editor? It will save you all kinds of time, and its as simple as being able to read and save your file.

Couple of questions I can't find answers to in this thread:
(Xbox 360 + DIIIROS.SaveEdit_1.3.16.118)

1. Account>>Normal>>Experience Points always defaults to zero after playing, saving and re-opening the gamesave, and in-game it says zero experience. I can't level up, any hints on fixing?
2. I can't seem to add any legendary gems to inventory or copy to stash - I notice it says "1.04 Only" - is that literally 1.04 only or anything post 1.04?
3. For items, can I crack the values of the Affixes themselves, instead of the pre-determined ones? Or increase the slots beyond 6? (This one might have already been asked but the search string is limitless)

 

1: Change to 10 If you are not paragon 10000.

2: 1.04 ONLY means 1.04 ONLY.. It apply's to RoS 1.04 ps4 xbox one.. ps3 and xbox 360 did not get this patch

3: NOPE

 

(Edit: should add this would work for Xbox too, i just game on Playstation hence why i only reference the Playstation)

Fun idea for PS4 players, for unlimited legitimate legs after you have exported your save and don't want to overwrite it again...

** Pre-requisites: own both PS3 and PS4, or have someone able to export a PS3 save for you.

First, you need 2 accounts. Main plus dummy/dupe account. You must be friends with each account. Preferably, make sure the 2nd account has no other friends except your main account in their list for this to work flawlessly.

ok, so this is basically the item duping method, however via the editor, we are going to use Legendary Gifts. this is just for a bit of fun, almost as if you were gambling with Kadala, except that you wont spend any shards/gold etc, and will get a random leg every single time.

for those that arent aware, when a leg drops in game, it has a chance to drop a "gift" for one of your friends on your list, which will send them a random legendary item. This item will roll to the stats of the character opening it too. For example, if i receive a legendary gift in my mail and open it with my Demon Hunter, the item will roll +Dex stats or be suitable for DH class anyway. so yeah, smart loot applies to the character that opens the gift in the mail. Take note of that.

1 - create a second PSN account, make sure the only friend on your list is your main account.

2 - Load up Diablo 3 UEE on PS3 with this account, create a character and get to town for the first save. This just makes sure the character and data and locked and stored in the save file.

3 - Once you have created a save file, exit Diablo 3 and load up the save file on your PC, following the simple steps from this thread for using the edtior.

4 - Your character can hold 60 items. So bascially, give yourself 60 of the item Legendary Gift. This is located under the Gifts tab.

5 - Once you're done, simply save the changes, perform the process for bringing your save back to your PS3, copy the new save over your existing save, then load up D3. Once the game has loaded, STAY IN THE MAIN MENU. Choose More -> Export Save and export your save to PS4.

6 - Now, turn on the PS4 and ensure your system also has both accounts on it. Load up the dupe account first and retrieve your exported save file with the Gifts. once that is done, log out and load up your main account, and Launch D3.

7 - Finally, once in D3 with your main character, using a second controller, bring in your other account as a 2nd player. Once he's in, using that 2nd controller, open up their inventory and mail all the Legendary Gifts to your main account. Since your main account is the only friend on the 2nd accounts list, all the gifts are automatically going to be sent to the main account. You will see the name, it will say "Gift for (insert PSN ID)" if it doesnt say this, don't send that item it wont go anywhere.

Then once you have sent all the gifts, hold down the PS button on the 2nd accounts controller, and log them out. This basically makes the player leave the game, without saving, so their inventory is unchanged. The 2nd account still owns all those Leg Gifts, as if they were never sent.

Now check in your mailbox with your main character, no need to log out or anything it sends straight away. You should have up to 60 gifts in there or however many you sent, every one a random legendary item.

***BEFORE YOU OPEN THEM - make sure you have the toon selected you want them rolled for. They will smart roll, so if for example you want a pair of TnT on your DH, but you're playing as a Barb and get a TnT, it will roll with +STR as a main stat.

once you've opened them all, done with them what you will, can simply use that 2nd controller to return your other account to the game, and rinse/repeat. Just make sure as soon as you have mailed the gifts to your main account, you log that 2nd account out before doing anything else, so that the game doesnt save for them. This is how you dupe any item in the game that can be dropped. It just happens to work for gifts too.

For those who only play on PS3/Xbox360, this works perfectly fine too, but theres not much point except for the fun of getting random drops, since you can still use the editor. The main purpose of this duping method, is for those that have exported to PS4/XBONE and realised they wanted a certain item they cant be bothered farming for, and dont have enough shards/patience for Kadala, yet still like the excitement of RNG. This method gets you endless legs, no chance of blues/yellows.

NOTE: The mailing system works for any items you create in the editor, provided they are not Bound on Account. but more importantly allows you to pass on items that cant be dropped. Blade Wings for example, Greater Rift Keystones etc. so again, say you've exported your save to PS4/XBONE, played a bit and then realised, "ah man wish i had used the editor to give myself that item" just use the above guide for creating a save on a 2nd account, this time using the editor to add whatever items you want, then once you have brought in that 2nd character into your game on PS4/XBONE, mail the items to your main account and bail out. simple.

Sorry for the massive wall of text guide, but I tried to cover everything so that you can read it, jump in there and go "yep i know exactly what to do" without getting stalled by confusion.

And yes, again, before you ask, this will work on XBox, i only use the references to PS3 and PS4 since that is what I own. Just swap the PS3 and PS4 references for X360/XBONE and you're done

First of all, this trick is so old. It has been known since the dawn of ROS
Second, why wasting time duping a ridiculous amount of legs that you have no clue what stats would be when this thread is all about items editor?

1. Paragon 800. Changed XP to 10, still zero for character (shouldn't it be set in the character tab instead of the account tab? Paragon XP is shared for all, but new characters won't have that XP) The game also states I need 111636075206 XP to progess to the next level, but the editor doesn't support an integer that high. Nothing I do seems to change the experience value to anything but zero. Help, please?

Also if you read what what/why I wrote it up, I clearly said this could help those that have transitioned to next gen yet forgot to get an item, or still want leg gear but still like the idea of RNG.

look in the Unknown list for a number that is around the xp that you are showing on the hero tab i think its -4839 or -3948 i cant think of the right one but its going to be relay short

 

You clearly miss my point. This is items editor thread. We talk about editor and give supports to people who are using it.

If you want bring something that is completely irrelevant to the editor then go make your own thread or at least post it on general topic, not here.
