been using the editor since its first beta release, forgot to tell you... great work guys! and donated too! btw minor problem on editor from PS3, when i create an 8th character and try to edit it, when i load it to PS3 its reading the character as corrupted, even the 8th to 12th character slots are getting read as corrupted anyways around to fix this problem!?
Hi Viper. Outstanding mod program, i have been using it for my ps3 savegame and it's awesome really. I have an issue though, After having modded my save game twice, then your program doesn't open my save game anymore, and i get this error message" invalid field in source data: 0" what does it mean? thanks
did you actually play them physically once or did you just create a character and expect it to be mod-able? Remember if you make a new character you must always get it to level 2 and complete the first quest before bringing it into the editor especially now more then ever since they updated to patch version 1.02 there are a few things that have been changed barely anything, but enough that it could cause issues in some case's. Another thing you say you've been using editor since beta, but really do you know how long ago that really was do you mean RoS beta or Vanilla Beta lol cause this program has been out for over a year thought i'd point that out there.
yes i did, reach them on first checkpoint and reach level 2, the first to seventh characters are perfectly fine (mixed of normal and hardcore), but 8th to 12th are getting corrupted and getting erased when loaded through game i mean editor D3RoS beta, played D3 vanilla on PC long time ago (release date) just to play through to know and learn the story, didn't partake to play more (D3 vanilla features, gearing up, auction house, etc.), even when RoS vanilla came out didnt have the patience to play it bcuz Blizzard/Battle.net is being a jerk on recovering my account that has been hacked and hasn't been used since D3 vanilla release this is my 1st time playing RoS, and thank god in consoles, imo its much more fun playing this game on consoles, offline lan party or even single console 4player co-op is amazing, and be able to cheat is a plus :woot:
dumb question how do i duplicate item i put in my stash and get them to stay there i always put back the gold on bottom ( and save of course) but no item stays there only the one i put myself in the chest from ingame what im i doing wrong? and ive seen the cooldown reduction % seems weird too some of my item give me example 7 so i swap it to something with 9, but in my detail char list, it only add 1 % or less so is there some hidden stuff that prevent from getting it to 90% i use 3 blue in my helm and try put 6-10% on a few pieces but cant reach 90% and id really like to have 90% for a build even i think 85% would virtually work but i aint sure
example is your putting an affix of "+10-40% Damage" on a weapon, meaning u will have a random roll between 10-40 once the item is loaded through the game, what you can do is 'DUPLICATE' the item with affix 'NOT COPY' to re-roll the random number generator, if u try to copy it you will have the same result so lets say you put 3 of those same affix on a weapon, you can get different results, example 1st affix +15 2nd affix +20 3rd affix +25 = +60% for stash inventory make sure the stash is max upgraded to put more items in, as for arranging it inside the editor is not applicable, as for some items in stash getting duplicated or copied will end up on your 1st slot character inventory, its neither the stash is full already or the editors fault, cuz same apply on character inventory when its full and whatever you add/copy/duplicate an item it will end up in the stash
pretty sure putting gold1 on bottom of the list will help. and for the affix i know its random dont worry i make best copy i can i waste hours doing so.... but end result are good lol, i just want that stash to work im just doing it wrong im just doing something wrong aint i viper? i think if i remember correctly , i open chest. edited the savegame and put 220 i add items to chest in game it works they stay in editor. but when i add them through editor, even though i put gold on bottom of the list, it doesnt work and i save everything of course
For putting items in the stash you supposed to put gold1 at the bottom of the list to get them in there, as was advised to me, however, this hasn't proven to work at all after trying it multiple times. Ensured gold1 was at the bottom but it still put every item added to stash after loading the editor on the first character to log in. Best thing to do is just ensure a character has as much inventory space as possible and put items directly into their inventory if you want it to work guaranteed.
I am having trouble with adding attack speed on items. Every other affix has worked fine, but I have a +33% attack speed on my sword and a +28% on my off hand, but under my character screen it only shows a 3% increase, whether I have those items equipped or not. Anyone else having this problem?
hey everyone, i got a quick question if any one knows the answer plz help. ive been trying to modify gear recently and have been not having very good luck, ive been able to modify my paragon levels without any trouble, but my gear doesnt work whenever i make any. also i try to make items out of legit gear but i never change the gear across item classes and it still doesnt work. ive got an xbox 360 and i use horizon and the d3 editor. ill open up my game save data from my usb into horizon and extract the save and the profile.dat ect. then i open up the editor load my save and click my item and start changing stats. i save after i change the stats and then i save everything right before i close the editor. i then go back to horizon and replace the save data and the other files, then eject the usb and plug it into the xbox and open up my game. when i look at the items that i modified, none of the i changed stats are there. can anyone help?
how can I make the items I created to be enchantable by the mystic? once I created an item using the editor then go to the game and enchant the item , it's not appearing in the items available for enchanting.
the only attack speed affix that works is the +5-7% on any gear the +8 and above are not working on RoS even when u port it to PS4 with the latest patch update CKY, noob question cuz i rarely do this ever... where can i upload my savefile? lol
anywhere you would like you can go to the project page create an issue and upload the file there of mediafire or here e-mail there are lots of options to do this are you clicking "SAVE ITEM CHANGES"

It completely works just like bruteforce does expect more simplified and easier to use just for Diablo 3 save files Only. Check the first page of thread for links and tutorials to the program.
yeah man i think theres some kind of check on gear, where if the gear cant legitmately roll above 7%. it wont recognise the affix. i dont think you can get above 7% ias on any gear anyway can you? well anyways this is it for me, thanks so much CKY and especially Viper. i have done what i really wanted and have now exported to PS4, the rest is in the hands of RNGesus. which is what this game is all about have my head start now, on par with my PC progress, plus a bit extra cant really fault this editor at all. final note, something i noticed today. sometimes when copy/pasting items from say 1 characters inventory to the other, or stash to inventory or whatever, the item wont show up in-game, no matter what. to rectify this, just make the item from fresh on your desired characters inventory. had dramas with a Unity ring not showing up, this solved it.
Ok, I will give that a shot. Can you use multiple of that same affix on one item or will only 1 work?
I've been having trouble with my modded save not loading. It starts loading and then my PS3 freezes. I followed all the directions and did everything as per the youtube videos, but I still can't figure out what isn't working. It recognizes the save data and the characters.
