Sony has announced a couple of new gaming headsets for PlayStation 3 and 4 in the US. One is a super sexy Glacier White version of the Gold Wireless Stereo Headset, while the other is a new ‘un called the Silver Wired Stereo Headset. The Glacier White version of the Gold Wireless Stereo Headset is “extremely limited edition”, says Sony, “which will only be available for a short time while supplies last.” It’s out now and you can see it below, timed to release alongside the Glacier White limited edition Destiny bundle. The Silver Wired Stereo Headset, meanwhile, will cost $69.99 and arrives in stores this autumn. It features 7.1 virtual surround sound, custom audio modes created by developers specifically for PlayStation games, a retractable boom mic, breathable ear cushions, in-line volume and mic controls and a lightweight design. “The Silver headset will join the Gold Wireless Stereo Headset as part of the official PlayStation headset lineup later this fall,” says Sony, “providing gamers with a choice of headsets and let them hear PlayStation games the way they were meant to sound.” Source - PST org
