Nintendo’s amiibo haven’t even been released yet and already the company has unveiled the next wave of interactive figurines featuring third-party characters for the first time. A total of eleven new amiibo has been revealed on Nintendo of Japan’s product page including Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog and Capcom's Mega Man. The reveal follows shortly after Nintendo recently told IGN that it is researching ways for its third-party partners to integrate the figurines into its games. Lucario, Rosalina & Chico, Bowser, Toon Link, Sheik, Ike, Meta Knight and King Dedede will be released in Japan on January 22, 2015. Shulk, Sonic and Mega Man will be released in Japan in February 2015. The figurines are priced at 1,200 yen, or roughly $13 USD. The latest wave of amiibo have not been confirmed for other regions outside of Japan yet. The first wave of amiibo, which includes Mario, Link and Pikachu, will launch in North America on November 21 and in Europe on November 28 with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
