Mrs Brown's Boys is expected to air Christmas specials for the next five years. Writer and star Brendan O'Carroll told The Mirror that two shows for 2015 and 2016 are already planned, with a further three anticipated. He said: "I have been commissioned to write another two Christmas specials and the BBC are expecting Christmas specials up until 2020. "I am lucky enough I can grow into the part and so that is nice.
