Mortal Kombat X will be getting a second set of additional characters through downloadable content (DLC). These characters will be released one at a time, just like the first set of DLC was earlier this year. Players of Mortal Kombat X will be able to purchase the Kombat Pack 2 season pass for $29.99 sometime in early 2016. With this season pass there will be four additional playable characters added to the game, special character skins and a new arena. These characters can also be purchased separately as they come out. Mortal Kombat's creator has been teasing players with tweets on who could be added as DLC characters. He tweeted a shadowy image of the four new characters with the caption "Who's Next?" Ever since that tweet, players have been coming up with their own ideas on who could be added to the game. According to Game Spot the Kombat Pack 2 will be loosely related to the first Kombat Pack, which could mean a whole different variety of characters. In the first Kombat Pack, Tremor, Tanya, Predator and Jason Voorhees were added to the game. Tremor, Jason and Predator were all from movies and only Tanya was a Mortal Kombat character. Boon recently posted a tweet about the possibility of "Jurassic Park" characters making it into the game. These could either be humans from the movies or even dinosaurs. This would continue the trend of adding movie characters to the game.For Kombat Pack 2, more Mortal Kombat characters could be coming to the game. For example, Baraka already appears in the story mode for Mortal Kombat X and he has several moves and animations already. It would be very easy to add him as a playable character.
