Next Wednesday, on Gamespot’s E3 live stream, Microsoft will showcase a “Xbox One system update.” On Friday June 5 Larry Hryb tweeted that a background update would take place on that day but that there was no differences that the user would notice. There was no mention of the update that will be previewed on the Gamespot live stream. It is safe to say that this update will be a major one, in part due to the fact that Microsoft feel the need to preview it, and with the release of Windows 10 just around the corner it would be a fair assumption to make that the two will be linked.
