can someone help me who has actually jailbroken a iphone 3GS on 6.1.6 baseband 05.16.08 i have jailbroken iphones before so I'm no noob just not done it in a long time and I can't after a day of searching the web find a 100% divinitive answer on if I can and how last time I did it installous was around so its been a bit so I'd need advive on what links are best for getting apps and games hoping someone can guide me in the right direction like I said I know it can be done just not 100% sure on the process so please only people who know what there doing please help many thanks

ive seen this yesterday but read some places that if your phone was made on or after the 32 week of 2011 it would brick your phone mine was made in 2012 week 28 also lots of people saying this doesnt work with latest itunes also it doesnt say it works for all basebands I wanted to make sure it would be ok for mine and one last thing if all does go well when I used to do it I use to use installous where you have to type a link into cydia to get everything now installous is no longer around what can you recomed to use oh one last thing last time I did so one it screwed up the signal and was always searching, so just want to make sure its for my kid if you can help me out with the specific questions above many thanks

? you can't get ios7 on a 3gs the final update for it was 6.1.6 I wish I could update it to ios7 twitter and facebook apps amoung a few other dont work on ios7 this is why I wanted some one to run me through it because theres so much confilciting data out there people say redsn0w or evasi0n i just not sure also the cydia thing issues idk this is why I made topic

personally ive always used evasi0n seemed to always work for me i found the version of evasi0n u need if u need it let me know good luck
