Please tell me you ate it, because that looks amazing, and now I want to go fishing lol Nice catch by the way My biggest catch ever was a grouper, weighed 87.3 pounds on the scale. Definitely not the biggest grouper ever, but still pretty good for a basic pole lol
No I didn't eat it. I released it so it can grow bigger and i can try to catch it again. I would love to catch a giant grouper. I went deep sea fishing on vacation once and caught a pretty big flounder and a sand shark. A few on my bucket list of fish to catch are sturgeon, barracuda, sword fish and maybe one of those giant tuna's, I want to catch at least one of those in my life
Never heard of a pike being called a musky before, nice catch mate, my biggest record stands at a 35lb Cod, and a 43 lb ling, was off a boat mind you lol, biggest pike i ever caught was about half that of yours Sent from the race car behind ricky bobby.
I'm not sure how knowledgeable you are when it comes to fishing, but if you don't know much about barsacudas, allow me to give you some pointers I learned this when I was 7, it was the first thing I ever learned about barracudas. They love the color white. I was out on my dock one day, when I lived on a small bay down in Key West, Florida. There was a small wall on one of the edges and a roof connecting the wall to the rest of the house, and in that little room is where the washer and dryer was. Well on the outside of that wall, facing the water, we had painted it white, and every time I was out there, 5 or 6 times throughout the night, a barracuda would jump up and hit it. So I'm not sure if they're aggressive towards the color white (racist barracudas xD) or what it is, but if you use lures, make sure they're white. Another thing is if you're a common traveler, take a trip down to Key West, and I guarantee you the abundance of barracudas if phenomenal. Take one of the deep sea fishing trips, and I bet you will catch anywhere from 10-15 of them an hour if you use the right bait
We have a strict no alcohol rule while on the boat, It takes 4 hours to get there and we are there to fish. But when fishing is done we hammer back the pints.
Damn one big fish you got there. Biggest fish I caught was a Muskie and also a Walleye which both were over 40 Inches long. The Walleye was pregnant and had to put back quick as they don't hold much air.
