Great news, the G-slide hasn't been patched, it's just a new button configuration.

How To G-Slide On Xbox One After Patch:

Press A to jump

Whilst in the air, double tap Y

Tap B

Tap A


If your timing was right, you should now be doing the G-Slide.


How To G-Slide On PS4 After Patch

Press X to jump

Whilst in the air, double tap Triangle

Tap Circle

Tap X

Again it is all down to timing, if done right you will now be doing the G-Slide.
