Right here goes my first tut Tools needed NFTS DOS My link DOSFLASH xtreme the one i use so you have tryed flashing your liteon using jungleflasher ( great app ) and its gone tits up and your pc is freezing and it no longer see's your liteon drive BUT you had already DUMPED the drives firmware so at least you done it half right all is not lost Reload jungleflasher with the drive powered OFF load your dummy dump in jungleflasher and load up your custom firmware LT 1.1 Hit Spoof to target & click on Save to file I Name that saved file (hack) and move that saved file into your dosflash folder which needs to be in your ROOT of you C drive C:\ now restart your pc with nfts dos in your cd drive (make sure you have boot from cd drive set in bois) pc will boot the cd it will load up a screen where you just hit (ENTER) this is load another screen saying nfts dos TYPE (YES) once finshed loading you will have a COMMAND PROMT here are your commands c:\ cd xtreme dosflash dosflash will now load Hit (N) on my via card the sata port is in postion 7 so at the next point i would Hit 7 (this is where the liteon drive is connected to on my setup) next command is (W) to write your firmware so hit W then type (hack.bin) *without the brackets* then you will be writing your firmware to your drive FINISHED GO PLAY COPYS
that's pretty helpful. also the L-O-eras.exe (yes there is no "e") tool is a 100% working dos tool that will erase and write every time. pretty much the exact same steps but different commands.
