How do I install a mod menu for GTA 5?

You need to put the Mod Menu on the root of your HDD and also setup your plugins in Dashlaunch. Check around the site I'm sure you will find a step by step guide.

 

Disc 1 installed, Disc 2 installed, Mod menu is a plugin, mod menu is on HDD, all DLCs are unlocked, i keep getting a fatal crash intercepted message

 

Which menu are you trying to use mate? And does your GTA load without the menu?

 

Well you say you have disc 1 and disc 2 Installed. But did you combine them too one folder. So the install files should be put in disc 2 content folder etc. Should be an install guide on XPG here. That's probably why your getting fatal crash error. I'll have a look for the guide.

Also make sure to look up on how to install plugins correctly. I think you need xbdm.xex xrpc.xex jrpc.xex and the mod menu of your choice and the stealth server files of course. Once in game you can activate it or open it. Also you need to make sure you have activated which title update your on. Automatically looks for it if your connecting online.

 

so take Disc 1 Content ----- 000000000 ----- 5408747A (just a guess) and copy that to the Content folder of Disc 2? Please not im keeping this offline cause im just trying to get it working, for now, so all i need is xbdm which i have as a plugin and ik how to set the mod menu as a plugin. I will try putting that content into the Disc 2 content and see from there

 

Yeah and add the other plugins anyway. Give it a try and see what happens from there. Just follow the guide step by step. I know the menu I have used before works offline too in single player only some menus works in single player though so keep note of that mate. Let me know how you get on thanks

 

I get all the way now to "Loading Story Mode" then it crashes.

It could be your game, try reinstalling it if you have the disc, if you have downloaded it from the internet download it from else where. I can invite you to a BAN-ME-PLEASE site if you wish, pm me.
