No I did not. so that may the problem. I didn't know that that was necessary. i've gotten other iso mods to work without doing that (namely l4d2) so that must be the issue. Thanks you! I'll try this tonight

 

dont bother its nothing to do with the xex trust me i had same problem in image burn go to layer break and change it to user specified then change it to 2133520 that worked for me dont have it on calculate optimal

 

it worked for me now i have 3 pistols a fire extinguisher and an assault rifle all it unlock

 

OK happy to say that it in fact does work. Important note: it only unlocks items to your level. So if your rank is too low to naturally get a gun, then you won't be able to get it yet. For example, the mod did not unlock the sniper rifles.
