Fable Legends - You don't need co-op to enjoy the game

What this is meaning, this game is going to be soon by far so good that really you don't need co-op/multiplayer to enjoy this game in your preferences... The single player is going to be so good that it pretty much is going to makes the game it self, nothing else really matters on how awesome of a job they are going to put into Fable Legends, as I would say... It's literally a Legend! So if your also looking for a good game to play, I would 100% recommend this game to any player! The fable legends beta will be out next month
So I would definitely try the beta!

Like a delicious candy apple covered in angry bees, Fable Legends continues to tantalise and deter me. I love the game's collectable figurine-style Hero models, and I've had a blast with the asymmetrical co-op, in which squads of do-gooders push through levels while a Villain arranges enemies and hazards. Still, as I wrote not so long ago, I'd prefer to play another Fable game that's purely single player, and purely about story.

While conceding that Legends is at its strongest with friends, Lionhead has insisted repeatedly that the game is perfectly enjoyable when you tackle it alone. Speaking to OXM during a recent hands-on showing, designer Lewis Brundish took a moment to bang this drum.

"Funnily enough, the narrative story and all of those elements are absolutely still there," he began. "Obviously, we're focusing on the combat-driven demo to show everyone what the gameplay is like. But under the hood, this is still Fable. You go through the whole game against AI controlled creatures with AI controlled companions if you want and even this does have a story."

Legends takes place long before the events of the original Fable, and sees you levelling up a selection of pre-fabbed Heroes rather than a single, ultra-malleable protagonist. Moral choice appears to have taken a backseat, and quests are now heavily about combat rather than narrative progression, but there are, we're told, plenty of side stories and activities to discover between scraps. Many are found at Brightlodge (pictured), the game's hub village.

"There are quests, rather like in Fable 1 where there was a guildmaster who would say, "do you want to protect an orchard farm from bandits, or do you want to go join the bandits and attack the farm,'" Brundish continued. "It's a similar vibe, so there'll be quests and you can go, 'right, do you want to do this quest as a hero, or do you want to do it as a villain'.

"Heroes are all their distinct characters and classes with their own backstories," he added. "And you can level them all up individually and learn about them all individually."

Convinced? I haven't had the chance to play the game with AIs yet, but I suspect you'll have more fun fighting alongside other sentient creatures. There's a Legends beta on the way next month.

Same as me, as far as they said, like I said in the topic, this game is suppose to be a Legend by itself!
