In a recent interview with GDC Vault about the development and launch of Xbox One, the ID@Xbox program for independent developers, and what the future holds for creators on Xbox One. The interview revealed one thing that I really wanted to hear about the Xbox One Development kit status. According to Phil Spencer the ability to turn every Xbox One into a development kit is still going to happen. Right now though Microsoft's aim is firmly fixed on getting exclusive games released ot the Xbox community and the priority is sending out actual dev kits to those that signed up to the ID@Xbox program.
