Escape from Tarkov now taking beta sign-ups

Escape from Tarkov wants you to help test one of the most promising survival games around.​

Escape from Tarkov is an online multiplayer FPS which has players investigating the conflict between two paramilitary organisations in a town closed off from the rest of the world by Russian and US forces. With raids and factions, it sounds more like an MMO than a straight up frag fest, and it’s quite pretty to boot, so naturally there’s powerful interest in checking it out.​

Well, good news; developer Battlestate Games has started taking expressions of interest in beta testing. Head on over to the Escape from Tarkov website so sign up.​

No word yet on when testing will begin, but I’d expect some action within the next few months; the project has been in the works since 2012 and is beginning to accelerate.​
