We're back at it again guys, the ideas are flowing in! We feel that the Editors are a little under rewarding for some of there hard work. So I have thought of a bunch of new ideas, as you can see in the poll above. It would really only work out with the feedback and interests of the members on the community. The group will be updated and freshened up with other ideas that will make the group stand out more then it does already. Any suggestions or edits to the ideas already up there are completely fine and well accepted. So, let's get to it guys! Moderating Gaming News Forum +Others This is a recent idea that has popped up that really interests me and some others. It would really be essential if the Editors that post in forums such as the Gaming News section were able to organize it, clean it, and moderate it. Other forums that make sense to add to the group will be given. Group Ranks +Other Perks Within Head Chief- Manages Group Executive- Senior Editor, manages Social Media Amphiaraus- write 100 articles [Perk in progress] Writer- write 50 articles Trainee- write 20 articles These groups can be edited as far as names/perks. It might be where only higher up groups get access to Gold forums and the others earn it. I would of course add in another group into there if that is considered. These are ranks that are kept track of within. These are not actual groups/badges. Article of the Month This is self explanatory. Articles will be evaluated monthly and the Editor that is always working hard and pushing content will get this. This can be edited to a weekly thing where all you get is an award. Or if monthly there could possibly be a badge and award. Of course, ran the same way. Badge goes away when someone else wins but the award stays. XPG Editor Youtube Channel +Other Social Media This is also self explanatory. The Editors will use these to share there articles off XPG as well as having the youtube videos we will make and may use in our topics linked back to XPG. Instead of random videos from Youtube or other sites. All these ideas will only be added if the interest is there. Get to voting, or suggesting!
Some great ideas there, good to see the Editorial rank is being given some attention, and the idea pushed forward. Good job Nasyr, keep it up.
I thought of the ability to moderate gaming news forum a long time ago, ask Rocky or Feral. So that was technically my idea. -_-
You did come up with this a couple months ago, its also something I would like to see implemented myself as it makes perfect sense.
