Despite Battlefield Hardline breaking away to offer a cops-and-robbers experience, Battlefield 5 is set to stick with a military setting. And the next core instalement in the franchise has been confirmed with a 2016 holiday launch date. EA revealed the news through its latest financial earnings call. CEO Andrew Wilson also announced that the Need for Speed franchise is set to return during the next financial year, while the next PGA Tour game will arrive at the end of June 2015. The golf title was originally given a spring 2015 release date when it was first revealed last year. The planned Star Wars Battlefront game will also go 'back into rotation' in the next fiscal year.
