Bungie’s now flipped the switch on Destiny’s online servers, but if you’ve just received your copy of the game, you have some waiting to do before you can join the first-person fray. The title’s inaugural PlayStation 4 patch has hit Sony’s servers overnight, and you’ll be required to download the 296MB update before creating your character and connecting to The Tower. There’s no word on what the patch does just yet, but we suspect that it will include some minor bug fixes and network tweaks. If you haven’t got your copy just yet – the title’s not officially out until tomorrow, after all – then the update should start downloading automatically when you pop the Blu-ray in your disc drive.
