Another downloadable Xbox Live exclusive that expands on the Dead Rising 2 universe was announced at TGS today, in the form of Dead Rising 2: Case West – an epilogue to the events of the main game. As the name suggests, Case West features Frank West – the original title’s hero – fighting alongside DR2 main man Chuck Greene in co-op gameplay. According to Capcom “Xbox LIVE Gold members will see the two protagonists delve deeper into the reasons behind the Fortune City outbreak and provide further links to the Willamette incident,” which we hope will translate into competitive zombie slaying and tag-team kills. Blue Castle Games (the developer of all three DR2 titles) has also recently been purchased by Capcom – probably due in no small part to the success of last month’s Dead Rising 2: Case Zero DLC – and will now be called Blue Castle Games Vancouver
