Crackdown Xbox One – Confirmed Information and New Rumors

Crackdown Xbox One was announced during the Xbox media briefing at E3 2014. Fans were excited that the game made an appearance however the game was soon placed away from the spotlight as other titles took center stage for the rest of the year. Crackdown Xbox One was however never forgotten as fans searched and searched for information regarding the game

Although all information has been kept rather tight lipped by the development team and Microsoft that doesn’t keep people from wanting to know more about the upcoming Xbox One exclusive. Crackdown Xbox One is expected to take the series in new directions and present players with a grand opportunity to engage in what we know of Crackdown in different ways but do it together. Again, little confirmation surrounds Crackdown Xbox One but that doesn’t mean there is no information gathered about the upcoming exclusive.

So far we know some things about Crackdown Xbox One. We know that the game was indeed announced at E3 2014 in the form of a very attractive trailer. This trial left jaws hitting the floor and plays itching for more. It is also confirmed that Dave Jones, the original creator of the game, will be bring the new experience to players.

Some of the other little known facts about Crackdown Xbox One are that the game will feature a cooperative campaign just as the series past as well as a new competitive game mode. The team behind the game is promising a new and exciting experience with Crackdown Xbox One and has even gone as far as to urge players not to consider the game Crackdown 3 as this new game is said to be something that will make players never look at an open world game the same again.

With any confirmed information a slew of rumors has accompanied the titles announcement and long run of silence. Players are ready and wanting to know just want to expect from the game. First of all the more confirmed rumor noted by Phil Spencer a while back confirmed that we will not hear any new information about Crackdown Xbox One until 2015. What this has lead people to believe is that the game will have a major presence at E3 2015.

On a side note, more rumors circulate about the games new competitive mode. While competitive gameplay has yet to be seen in a Crackdown title, rumor has it that the game will feature a mode more like an MMO than a title selection screen. It is thought that Crackdown Xbox One might feature and area where multiple agents are running about in the same world rather than the previous limited players. With that being said more rumors have circulated that the game will feature more than 2 player cooperative play. It is also speculated that Crackdown Xbox One will have a mid-October release date. Again, this information remains in the rumors stage so take it as you will.
