yeah you can your friends list and messaging and party chat will all be the same mate no difference if you have a 360 or the xbox one, although on the xbox one you can have upto 1000 friends but yeah they where quick to answer that one as it would be crap if you stuck with 360 and all your mates got xbox one and you couldnt see what they where up to or chat to them so don't worry about that one mate you can party chat 360-xb1 your GT is the same on both
I think it got to the stage where they had too mate lol, after a week of it major nelson in a video interview (3days ago) said "no we won't be changing anything" and now look a total turn around they should call it the Xbox180 as they have done a complete 180 with all there crazy descisions lol.
